New Sudbury Days
Help us spread Shawn's message across Ward 8. We will meet at the campaign office for a quick training before heading out.
Help us reach out to residents across the ward via phone. Bring your energy and your smartphone. Script provided.
New Sudbury Days is a free, family-oriented community festival held annually in late August that celebrates the New Sudbury neighbourhood. It is organized by volunteers with support from the City of Greater Sudbury and focuses on bringing together residents, local businesses, community organizations, and families.
For 2026 (August 28–30), the festival includes:
🎬 Movie Night Under the Stars
Live music followed by an outdoor movie.

🌭 Community BBQ & Pop-Up Market
Free BBQ (while supplies last)
Local vendors and artisans
Family activities
Location: Twin Forks Park
Saturday
🥞 Free Pancake Breakfast
Pancakes and family activities.
Location: Ridgecrest Park
Sunday morning
🎈 Family Fun at Place Hurtubise Park
Children's activities
Community gathering
Food (such as pizza while quantities last)

🐶 Community & Pet Food Drive
Donations collected for the Greater Sudbury Food Bank and the SPCA.
Collection sites include local retailers such as Giant Tiger and Metro on Lasalle Boulevard.
